Geology Visualizations

To view the 3D Datamine visualizations of the Kirkland Lake Gold properties geology, you will need to download the free Earthworks "Visualizer" or "Visualizer To Go" to your computer.

Earthworks "Visualizer" is a 4 Mb download that installs on your computer (recommended if you wil be returning to the site to see Datamine visuals regularly) ... "Visualizer To Go" is a smaller version application (under 1 Mb) that does not install on your computer but still allows full 3D viewing. When prompted, "Save" files to desktop. Should you choose to "Open" you will need to click "OK" to allow the Installation.

Once the Earthworks Visualizer is installed, click on the .GVP link below. (File size 1.85 Mb) Again for security purposes we suggest downloading to your computer and opening there.

Once opened, you can rotate the 3D model by holding down left mouse button and moving your cursor around. (Full screen mode is suggested due to quantity of information). Right mouse button brings up Menu which includes various Options (Surfaces Solid or as Lines, Restore Original View, Auto Spin & Roll), Zoom & Pan (click option, then hold left key while dragging cursor), Wireframe/Solid Model, Points can be set to Visible or Transparent as can Axes/Grid. The combination of controls should allow a viewer to close in on specific area of interest from a strategic angle and see the key elements desired.
