A new 2000 horse power hoist designed by Tiley and Associates in Flamborough Ontario will be assembled and installed in this newly constructed building during July and August 2010. The benefit to production of this new hoist is that it will increase hoisting capacity from 1000 tons per day to 2600 tons of waste and ore. There will then be in calendar year 2011 a program that will convert from 10 to 14 ton skips that combined with automation improvements will result in 3600 tons of hoisting capacity. This new hoist will operate the three deck mancage.
